# Smoke-test Bedrock Claude (internal)

**POST /ai/admin/ping/claude**

Sends a fixed ping prompt to the Claude haiku model through Bedrock and reports the model, latency and, in `sample`, the first 64 characters of the reply. A Bedrock failure still answers 200, with `ok: false`, `model: unknown` and the error class and message. Super admins only.
