# Discard the pending narrative

**DELETE /ai/cases/{caseId}/summary/pending**

Clears the pending narrative version and returns the summary. Returns 404 when the case has no summary. Requires owner or admin access to the case and an active plan (403 otherwise); not available to opposing counsel.
