# Clear one inbox item (internal)

**POST /admin/collection-ops/inbox/items/{id}/clear**

Clears an open or snoozed inbox item and records it on the timeline. Returns the updated item as stored. Returns 404 when the item is unknown or already cleared. Super admin only; 404 while the collection-ops console is turned off.
