# Read a collection timeline from a shared link (internal)

**GET /public/collection-ops/timeline/{token}**

Returns the markdown timeline for a link minted by the timeline-link route. No auth; limited to 30 requests per minute. A bad, forged or expired token, an unconfigured secret, the console being off and an unknown collection all return the same 404.
