# List the matter participants of a case

**GET /legal/cases/{caseId}/participants**

Lists the people imported from the Clio or Smokeball matters linked to the case (attorneys and contacts) with name, email, phone, role, whether they are a custodian and their provider id; the optional `provider` query narrows to one provider. Empty when the case is not linked. Requires a member role or above in the organization.
