# Refresh a Plaid item's statements

**POST /financial-data/statements/{plaidItemId}/refresh**

Asks Plaid to re-fetch the last 24 months of statements, then does the same as listing: stores any new statements and returns every stored statement record for the item. Already-downloaded PDFs are untouched.
